Initial Client Project Brief
Client requested a product capabilities sheet to announce Visteon’s
Client-assigned budget: $35K
My Concept: Proposed new budget: $550K
- Market research showed that Visteon was not fully utilizing the opportunity to showcase their innovative new system.
- The concept I developed would help establish Visteon’s system as having a clear advantage over the competition. However, to fulfill the vision of my concept, the budget would need to increase to $550,000.

- Contracted “celebrated” R/GA graphics in NYC to create CGI animation, under my direction.
- I directed all animation, sound design, and also designed/illustrated all dashboard elements.
CGI ANIMATION CREATED FOR VISTEON.
“The Personal Touch.”
The CGI video animation told the visual story of how Visteon’s multiple components could be customized and configured to suit the needs for a myriad of automakers.
We included a link at the end of the animation that prompted the user to use our purpose-built “microsite” to discover more technical details.
First-to-Market Innovation in Animation and Multi-Channel Delivery
CONCEPT TO MARKET
I presented, strategy and creative concept to our internal team and gained full support from my Executive Creative Director and Senior Account team.
— When presenting my new concept to Visteon, I presented a fully developed strategy, with market research, animation storyboards.
— It was key to position Visteon as a market leader to compete effectively with GM’s Delphi division. The client saw the value and need to produce ground-breaking creative to effectively convey their Superintegrated Cockpit System to global manufacturers.
MY ROLE:
— Concept, Design and Direction of CGI animation. We wanted to convey the visual story of Visteon components flying into a wireframe dashboard. This showcased the modular functionality available to manufacturers from Visteon’s SuperIntegration system.
— Managed all team members and was accountable for the partner contracts/budget and tight timeline.
Direct Mail Initiative
I designed the Direct Mail component to reinforce Visteon’s strong brand image. As the audience opened the panels, a custom “oval-shaped” CD-ROM was able to be removed that played the CGI Animation on desktop and laptop computers.
